Meet Courtney:

THE WELLNESS ALCHEMIST

Transforming women’s lives for over a decade through body based therapy.

I know that it might feel like you have tried it ALL to feel good in your body…

You have read ALL the self-help books, cleaned up your diet, tried to balance your hormones, healed your gut, gone to talk therapy for years…

But you STILL feel disconnected from yourself— like you have to drag yourself out of bed, zone out all day at work, and collapse on the couch at night, completely drained.

You know in your heart that you’re meant to be THRIVING, not surviving.

Here’s the truth…

Most of the approaches you’ve tried have focused on managing symptoms, either mentally or physically, without addressing the missing link: your nervous system.

If your body doesn’t feel safe, it won’t fully heal.

That’s why I take a different approach—one that works WITH your body instead of against it. Because when your nervous system is supported at the root, healing stops being a battle… and starts to become your natural state.

WHAT SETS US APART

  • 01 / TRANSFORMATION

My work is a combination of connecting the relationship to the physical body, identifying obstacles towards connecting to the body, implementing nervous system regulation techniques through body based practices/movement therapy, and guiding clients to heal with grace.

  • 02/ EMBODIMENT

I fully believe that emotions live in our bodies and any sort of trauma alters the way that we are able to show up in our personal world. I love teaching and guiding clients practices to feel grounded and regulated in their bodies to be able to feel more connected and safe.

  • 03/FEMININE ENERGY

You were designed with a body that is cyclical in nature. When you learn how to regulate your nervous system, you feel ANCHORED deep within your feminine being no matter what you are experiencing. This work will help you transform your emotional storms into calm waters.

MEET YOUR occupational therapist

COURTNEY

My passion for healing and the body began in 2009 when I took my first yoga class while attending The Ohio State University. I was so moved on how AMAZING I felt in my body just by moving my body alone. After my first class at Yoga on High in Columbus, Ohio, I deeply knew that helping others learn how to connect with their bodies would be my life’s mission.

I continued my journey and moved to San Francisco where I graduated with a master of science in occupational therapy from Dominican University of California. From there I gained experience in working in the acute rehabilitation setting (Kaiser Foundation Rehabilitation Center in the Bay Area and Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in Chicago) - working primarily with adults with neurological injuries (traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury). I loved how much mindful movement, sensory based OT practices, and teaching my patients how to properly breathe facilitated so much healing in my patients.

The past 10 years of working as an occupational therapist has taught me the importance of learning how to feel SAFE in your body.

a little more about me

  • There is nothing compared to the freedom I feel when I am on a horse! It helps me drop into my body and the present moment. I love how soothing it is to be around horses… they are incredibly intuitive!

  • I love a lavender iced matcha latte from Vacancy Coffee in Newport Beach, CA!

  • I have an eleven year old dachshund named Millie! She is my everything!
